Seeing, Sensing, Moving, Being - Ways to Deeply Connect with Nature

$60.00

People need nature; we need nature connection. Nature was our first home; it gives us strength, and it gives us joy. You won’t find members of the more-than-human world asking, “What is the meaning of life? What is my purpose?” They intrinsically know and will openly share their knowledge with us if we only know how to listen.

This half-day workshop will guide you through engaging your senses and learning to move in concert with and listen to the more-than-human world. We will share the philosophies behind nature connection and information from research on the health benefits of time spent in the forest. You will feel the pleasures of presence, learn to walk the way our ancestors did, moving with the ebb and flow of our surroundings, utilize wide-angle vision, and explore the more than human world through your senses. We will teach you skills and practices you can incorporate into your daily life to increase your well-being and feeling of connectedness.

We all crave peace, love, joy, and purpose. These can be found within. By truly learning to connect and listen to nature, you will see how you can connect with these things within yourself.
